Based on the exceptional and late-ripening red grape variety Mourvèdre, Syrah, Pinotage and Cabernet Franc form the corset for this particularly expressive, precise and elegant red wine since the first vintage in 2006, which impressively reflects the origin of its individual components. The namesake for this multilayered and complex wine is, on the one hand, the 250-year-old water mill located on the estate, the "Vitruvian Mill", and on the other hand, Leonardo da Vinci's world-famous drawing of the "Vitruvian Man", which shows a perfect harmony of the proportions of the individual components, just like a harmonious red wine cuvée. Spontaneously fermented and aged for 36 months in French oak, 35% new wood, 2,700 bottles.
