All barrels (through spontaneous fermentation, each barrel develops a little differently) that don't fit stylistically into his main wines are set aside and from them the Plan B blend is created each year and sold at a small price.
The De Trafford Plan B is hand -harvested, -sorted, -pressed, -filled and -labeled just like the winery's main wines!
It shows a beautiful deep red color in the glass. Cherries and dark berries dominate the nose. Velvety tannins on the palate and a nice round finish with fruity length.
So a Porsche at a golf price!

| Barrel maturation | The fermentation commenced with natural yeasts and took approximately three weeks to complete. The wines spent nine months in used 400L barrels on the gross lees with regular lees stirring. The wine underwent partial malolactic fermentation. |
