Description
The De Trafford Syrah Blueprint is the little brother of the 393 Syrah of De Trafford. Hand -harvested, -sorted, -pressed, -bottled and -labeled! The exclusive use of used barrels, makes Blueprint one of De Trafford's most drinkable wines.
Medium deep, true red color. Initially quite restrained on the nose opens with lovely pepper and eucalyptus hiding the dark berry fruit.
A bit shy on the palate at first, with a slightly reductive character that soon unpacks to reveal a complex array of flavors with crisp tannins that keep the wine fresh and appealing until the end of a long finish.

| Barrel maturation | The fermentation commenced with natural yeasts and took approximately three weeks to complete. The wines spent nine months in used 400L barrels on the gross lees with regular lees stirring. The wine underwent partial malolactic fermentation. |
