Foundation stone laid for this winery Vittorio Emanuele, the second king of Sardinia, and is now managed by Luca Baffigo Filangieri and the Foundation E. di Mirafiore of Oscar Farinetti, founder of Eataly, the food chain sponsored by Slow Food.
On 85 hectares, mainly traditional grape varieties such as Nebbiolo, Barbera, Dolcetto and Moscato are grown, fermented with autochthonous yeasts from the estate's own vineyards, fermented in cement vats and aged in oak barrels.
Sulphur is used only to the minimum, far below the amount permitted by law.
Natural viticulture, biodiversity and energy conservation characterize the philosophy of the house!
